Aquaphor Eco Pro: Sleek Design, Superior Purity
The Aquaphor Eco Pro combines a stylish and ergonomic "slim" design with fast access to high-quality drinking water. Its advanced replacement filters feature an increased amount of adsorbent, allowing them to last significantly longer than those in standard systems.
The Eco Pro also stands out from other brands due to its incredibly easy filter replacement process. Special fasteners require minimal time and effort, and because the filters are replaced along with their housing, any chance of contamination is prevented.
Advantages of Aquaphor Eco Pro:
- Deep Purification: Effectively removes all common contaminants found in unfiltered water, including chlorine, lead, petrochemicals, and sediment.
- Softens Water: Slightly reduces the hardness of your drinking water.
- Space-Saving Design: Its compact size takes up minimal space in your kitchen.
- Permanent Installation: Installs securely under your sink and comes with a separate ceramic faucet.
- Certified Quality: Aquaphor's Management Quality System is certified by TUV (Essen, Germany) according to the ISO 9001-2000 Standard, assuring reliable performance.
-
Advanced Filtration: Features a composite 3-stage filtration system with a 0.1-micron cut-off carbon block cartridge, providing superior removal of chlorine, rust, other organic impurities, heavy metals, bacteria, cysts, and viruses.

Frequently Asked Questions
1. What makes AQUAPHOR filters unique?
AQUAPHOR water purifiers stand out from competitors primarily due to our US-patented AQUALEN™ chelating ion-exchange fibers. Unlike most companies that source generic components, AQUAPHOR develops and produces all filtration elements in-house, specifically for household water purification. We control quality at every step, allowing us to create proprietary filtration mixtures that deliver exceptionally pure water at optimal speeds.
2. Why should I choose an AQUAPHOR filter?
AQUAPHOR filters have a proven track record of effectiveness, backed by many years of use with tap water in Russia and Eastern Europe. This extensive experience ensures they can easily handle the significantly less problematic tap water found in Singapore, Europe, the US, and other countries. If you live in an area with particularly dirty water, AQUAPHOR filters are an ideal solution: they offer superior performance and a longer lifespan compared to other filters.
3. What filtration materials are used in AQUAPHOR water filters?
The core filtration capability of AQUAPHOR filters is powered by a specially made mixture of AQUALEN™ fibers and high-quality granulated activated carbon. Thanks to the filtering material's high absorption rate and large effective surface area, water passing through is freed from chlorine, phenols, chlororganic compounds, petroleum compounds, and pesticides in about 30 seconds.
4. Do AQUAPHOR filters block bacteria?
Yes, one of the key qualities of AQUAPHOR water filters is their bactericidal activity. We achieve this by impregnating AQUALEN™ fiber with activated silver. Laboratory experiments demonstrate that these fibers can effectively block and prevent the reproduction of 10,000 bacteria per gram of filtration mixture.
5. Can AQUALEN™ filters purify water from non-tap sources (e.g., wells)?
While AQUAPHOR filters are developed specifically to clean municipal tap water, they can still significantly improve water from non-municipal sources like wells, artesian springs, or open-air sources. It's absolutely crucial to reduce potential pollutants from nearby roads, fields, and farms. Though we cannot guarantee the same high level of performance as with municipal water, AQUAPHOR filters will make your water considerably safer by filtering out organic compounds, heavy metals, and disease-causing bacteria. However, water from these sources still needs to be boiled before drinking for complete safety.
6. How long will my filter cartridge last?
Your filter cartridge has a specific lifetime liter rating. To determine how long it will last for your household, divide that rating by your family's average daily water consumption. For example, if a person needs three liters of water per day, a 1,000-liter filter would last one person approximately 333 days. If your household has two people, divide by six, and so on. Keep in mind that for particularly dirty water, the filter may need to be changed earlier than the rated capacity.
7. How can I tell when my filter cartridge needs replacing?
Unfortunately, you can't "eyeball" the filter, as most harmful impurities and pollutants are tasteless and odorless. The only reliable way to know when your filter is exhausted is to track your water usage. Calculate your family's average daily water consumption and then divide the filter's total liter rating by that number. Remember, if you're filtering unusually dirty water, the filter's lifespan might be shorter than its maximum rating.
8. Can AQUAPHOR filters release accumulated impurities back into the water?
No, they cannot. The advanced filtration mixture used in AQUAPHOR filters quickly and reliably binds water-borne pollutants. For impurities like heavy metal ions to be released, the filter would need to be heated to an extreme temperature of 600 degrees Celsius. This means that substances captured by an AQUAPHOR filter are permanently trapped and cannot be released back into your drinking water under normal conditions.
9. What happens if hot water is passed through an AQUAPHOR filter?
Passing hot water through a standard AQUAPHOR filter won't cause immediate harm, but you'll need to rinse it with cold water for about five minutes afterwards. More importantly, hot tap water is generally not considered drinkable and is significantly dirtier than cold water. Regularly filtering hot water will drastically reduce your filter's service life. AQUAPHOR also offers specific filters designed for hot water use, such as the AQUAPHOR Viking with hot water modules.
